Equipment

My first serious photography was done with 35mm film cameras. When professional quality digital cameras came along the technology highway, I was delighted to find that image quality started approaching that of medium format film. The freedom offered by digital cameras to experiment with exposure and all of the technical details of making great photographs was to me breathtaking. The ability to see the image immediately, and to adjust for the conditions of the scene is revolutionary. With digital, one can make photographs at various settings and pick the best.

I also use medium format film and scan transparencies.

I will let you the viewer decide if the images I make are worthy of your time. The equipment is important, but not the end of the tale — the images are.
